Logs!

We had our first "brick workout" yesterday, which was a 15 mile bike ride followed immediately by a two mile run. One reason for the workout is to get used to how it feels when starting the run after a long bike ride. How does it feel? Like your legs weigh a ton! Like someone replaced your legs with logs!




The feeling does go away after about ten minutes or a mile or so. It's important for new triatheletes to recognize the feeling so they don't worry when it happens.
